TradeVibes is the best way to discover, research and discuss hot (and not so hot) startup companies. Our community finds cool and interesting startups and adds them to TradeVibes. By leveraging the collective wisdom of our community, TradeVibes separates the best startups from their competitors. Come share your opinions, or just come see the ratings, opinions, and discussions about which startup will be the next star.

Our long term mission is to democratize business information. By increasing transparency around information, we hope to encourage frank discussions and opinions about these companies. Ultimately, we believe this will increase innovation and encourage entrepreneurship globally.

The Company

TradeVibes was founded in 2007 by four early employees of PayPal who shared a passion for entrepreneurship and cool new startups. We are the first structured wiki for company information. The alpha version of our site launched in November of 2007.

Our office is located in beautiful downtown Mountain View (although we have no views of any mountains given our lack of external windows). Our central location puts us within a 5 minute walk to CalTrain, 30+ restaurants, 5 cafes, 4 bars and 3 travel agents.

We are currently privately funded by a group of prominent angel investors including Ron Conway, Felicis Ventures, and the Kinsey Hills Group. Our advisors include Steve Chen, Ron Conway, Edward Kinsey and Dave McClure.
